 Worldrice statistics (WRS) presents comprehensive time series data related to rice. Data on rice production, trade, consumption, inputs, prices, and other related information are compiled from international and national statistical sources, personal communications, and from responses to questionnaires sent by IRRI's Social Sciences Division. WSR is managed by the Research Database Management Team of the Social Sciences Division and updated as new data become available, currently under the guidance of Sam Mohanty, head of the Social Sciences Division. An important addition is Appendix 7 A Guide to Websites for Rice Related Information, prepared by Nelissa Jamora.
