The International Rice Research Notes (IRRN) has expedited communication among scientists concerned with development of improved technology for rice and rice-based cropping systems for more than 3 decades. It is a mechanism to help scientists keep each other informed of current rice research findings. The concise scientific notes are meant to encourage rice scientists to communicate with one another to obtain details on the research reported.
Editors' Note: Research notes submitted to IRRN will be put online as soon as they are accepted for publication.
