Vietnam to host International Rice Conference 2010 |

VietNamNet Bridge: The International Rice Conference, IRC 2010, will be held in Hanoi, announced Dr. Robert Zeigler, director general of the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) at a press conference in the capital city on October 24.
There will be over 1,500 representatives from Asia, Africa and America.
Dr. Zeigler highly commended Vietnam’s results in the field of rice cultivation and production over the past 20 years.
The conference will include the 28th international seminar on rice research, the 3rd global workshop on the rice trade, the 3rd international exhibition of rice growing technology and civilization, and the 50th anniversary of the IRRI’s establishment.
